XXVI Annual ICOMON Meeting – Kyoto
The XXVI Annual ICOMON Meeting will take place at the triennial ICOM meeting in Kyoto, between 1st and 7th September 2019.
The overarching ICOM theme is Museums as Cultural Hubs: the Future of Tradition and the ICOMON meeting will focus on Numismatic Museums as Cultural Hubs: Future perspectives.

We are pleased to announce that ICOMON will be able to offer one ICOM Young Member Travel Grant. The deadline for applications is 9th January 2019 and full details are available here.
The call for papers is now open, with the subthemes focussing on:
- Roles within the community
- Diversity and identity
- Financial education
- Renew and sustain
The initial deadline for abstract submissions is 15th March 2019. Please send a 250 word abstract along with a presentation title, name, affiliation and contact details of the contributor(s) to icomon.members@gmail.com Papers can be presented in any one of the three official ICOM languages (English, French or Spanish).
